Dinner at The Villa – Singapore Botanic Gardens | July 8 – 19:00
After a hot day filled with the latest on Computational Science, we go to the beautiful Singapore Botanic Gardens – a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Nestled within the Gardens is The Villa. offering a unique setting with lush greenery and elegant, spacious dining rooms. The Villa is one of the best places for a Summer evening in Singapore, and the chosen venue for this year’s dinner.
The Villa’s award-winning cuisine provides a range of curated menus featuring the finest seasonal ingredients. The ICCS dinner program features two salads (Caesar and Prawn, a Duck Breast cold entrée, Tomato and Basil Soup, Traditional Nonya Laksa at the Asian Corner, five hot dishes, and four desserts. Free-flow Coke, Sprite, and Iced Tea will be served throughout.

Please note: the dinner menu includes free-flow soft drinks and iced tea, but it does not include any alcoholic drinks. This is because alcohol is heavily taxed in Singapore. Guests are of course free to consume wine or beer at their own discretion, but will be responsible for paying their own alcoholic drinks.
How to Get There
The conference sessions on July 8th end at 17h00m, giving you almost 2 hours to make your way to the Botanic Gardens.
If you are going straight from the conference to the dinner:
Go to the Buona Vista MRT Station for the Circle – yellow – Line (CC22) and take the train headed to Dhoby Gaut. Hope off on the third stop, “Botanic Gardens”. Then walk about 1.5 km through the Gardens until you reach The Villa.
If you are somewhere else in Singapore, in addition to the Circle Line, you may also take the -brown – Thomson East-Coast Line and hop off at Napier. You will then approach the Botanic Gardens from the south and walk about 1.0 km til you reach The Villa.
We will be waiting for you right in front the restaurant at 19h00m. Please wait for us at the door, as we will have to check your name on the dinner list. Dinner starts at 19h00m and ends at 22h00m.
The MRT service operates until midnight, giving guests ample time to return to their accommodation.

Notes
- The conference dinner is only included in the PLUS registration package. If you registered with a BASIC/QuaRC/ANComplexity ticket, then dinner is not included.
- Participants who registered with the PLUS package need no further action, as there is no physical ticket. Names will be
checked upon entrance to The Villa.
