As mentioned in the main venue page<\/a>, ICCS ’24 will be hosted by the University of M\u00e1laga<\/a>, at the School of Computer Science and Engineering (ETSI Inform\u00e1tica)<\/a> in the Teatinos campus<\/a>. The address is:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From M\u00e1laga Airport to M\u00e1laga City<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

By local train<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Take Line C-1<\/strong> from the airport to the city center. You don\u00b4t need to change, it\u00b4s a direct train. The journey takes only 12 minutes, and the standard fare is 1.80 EUR. The stop closest to the city center is “Centro Alameda”, from which you can easily walk to anywhere in the center. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can also hop off at M\u00e1laga’s central transportation hub, station “Mar\u00eda Zambrano”, and then connect with the metro (station “El Perchel” is right by) or the long and medium-distance trains to anywhere in Spain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The train runs every 20-40 minutes depending on the time and day of the week. You can check the schedule at:

By bus<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Take the “A”<\/strong>  Airport Express (“Aeropuerto Expr\u00e9s”)<\/strong> to the city center. There are 10 stops along the way, the main ones being “Maria Zambrano” train station, bus station (“Estaci\u00f3n Autobuses), Avda. Andaluc\u00eda and Alameda Principal. The journey takes close to 30 minutes, and the standard fare is 4 EUR. You can buy your ticket (have cash ready) directly from the driver.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Airport Express starts working at 7:00 am and stops at 12:00 midnight. It runs every 30-45 minutes. You can check the timetable at:

By Taxi\/Bolt\/Uber\/Other<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

The airport taxi stand is outside Terminal 3, Floor 0, Arrivals area.  The journey takes between 20 and 30 minutes, depending on traffic conditions, and costs around 25-30 EUR. Taxis are available 24\/7, but you can also call +34 952 327 200.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bolt\/Uber rides or similar will take approximately the same time as the taxi, but usually cost a little less, around 15-20 EUR.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From the Center to the University<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
By Metro<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

This is by far the easiest option, and the one we recommend. Take Metro Line 1 (L1)<\/a> (if you happen to be closer to Line 2, you can change to Line 1 at “El Perchel”), direction \u201cAndalucia Tech\u201d, and exit at “Cl\u00ednico” (do not exit at “Universidad” – it’s farther away). Then walk 2 minutes to ETSI Inform\u00e1tica (School of Computer Science and Engineering), which you can see from the station. The trip takes about 15 minutes and the standard fare is 1.35 EUR for one trip, or 0.80 EUR each trip if you buy a prepaid card.<\/p>\n\n\n

If you find yourself elsewhere in the campus, no problem. Just refer to the University of M\u00e1laga’s map of Teatinos Campus<\/a> for easy navigation. ETSI Inform\u00e1tica is #2 on the map.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By Bus<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

The most convenient bus line is #11. Buses run every 10-15 min and the trip lasts between 15 and 20 min., depending on traffic conditions. You can take it dowhtown at the Alameda Ave., for example, and then hop off at \u201cHospital Cl\u00ednico\u201d. ETSI Inform\u00e1tica is 50m away from the bus stop. A bus ticket costs 1.30 EUR. <\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/a>\n\n\n\n

At the University<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Once you get to the main ETSI Inform\u00e1tica building, take the stairs\/lift down to level 0, where the conference takes place. Use the map below to navigate the different conference areas, and be sure to stop at the registration desk first to pick up your ID. It’s a very easy setup, with everything happening in the same building and on the same floor.<\/p>\n\n\n
