The currency of Poland is zloty (abbreviation - zl). It's international code is PLN. 1 zloty = 100 groszy (abbreviation - gr). Coins are: 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50 gr, and 1, 2, 5 zl. There are also 10, 20, 50, 100 and 200 banknotes. Foreign currency can be exchanged at the airports, hotel receptions and banks and in many small exchange offices called "kantor" located all around the city centre (these usually offer the best exchange rates).
Here are current average exchange rates from National Bank of Poland.
